Invodo just returned from the 2009 FFaNY shoe show in New York City where we captured video of the 2009 Spring/Summer collections as well as a sneak peak at the Fall/Winter styles.

Espadrilles and wedges were definitely the hot Summer shoe at FFaNY. Wedges are a great staple to any shoe collection because they give you the height of a heel with the casual ease of a sandal.  If you like to be closer to the ground, don’t worry!  Flat, strappy sandals were everywhere! From studded leather accents to soft metallic tones, it was clear that a great sandal is a Summer must-have.

Already thinking about your next pair of boots for Fall?  Try a motorcycle inspired boot to spice up some jeans or your favorite dress.  If you want to play around, fringe is always a fun option.  Don’t go overboard however….. less is more.
